The Houseman Group is still steadily growing in a tough market place. With a diverse portfolio of different activities, our MD Rob Houseman explains why. 'In a recession hit UK, a company can't just sit back and expect business from existing clients to carry them through. A fresh and very different approach is needed when times are tough and diversity is the key'. 'We have concentrated mainly on the construction industry in the past as our main core business and although our main activities lie within this sector we have moved outside of our comfort zone with new ventures in unconnected territories. Industries as far removed as 'Fireworks' have given us a different aim for focus and as long as our eye doesn't get taken off the ball with our existing activities, I feel it is good to have a few baskets in which one can place their eggs.'

A Houseman Dry Lining Crew have just returned from Paris France where we were contracted to build The Hospitality and Press Chalets for Boeing for The Paris Airshow 2009.
Working closely with the main contractor, Houseman dry lining were contracted to partition the vast temporary structures into a hospitality area for Boeing's VIP guests and a Press building for their Media partners. The structures incorporated a Theatre, Restaurants, kitchens and lounge areas and both boasted superb viewing terraces for the show.
With very intense time scales for the build, Houseman Dry Lining finished before the deadline and on budget.

As a regular visitor to this site you will know that Houseman Dry Lining have been involved in Motorsport for many years. 2009 is no different and Houseman Dry Lining are very proud to sponsor Dave Pinkney in The Team Dynamics Honda Civic in this year's British Touring Car Championship. Britain's most prolific motor racing series is a superb platform for any forward thinking company to raise its profile and increase brand awareness by the vast media exposure the championship gets.
We manage to take this one step further and provide first class hospitality for our VIP guests and partners and make sure that each and every guest has a 'money can't buy' experience when they arrive at the circuit.
